The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been turning heads all over India, and it’s easy to see why. This bike has style, it’s easy on the wallet, and it promises a thrilling ride. But does it live up to the hype? As a rider always on the lookout for the next best thing, I decided to hit the road with other Hunter 350 owners to find out.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Reviewed

This bike nails that modern-retro look. It takes inspiration from the classics while adding some contemporary flair, a bike that’s both timeless and fresh. Many riders love the clean lines and compact size, which makes zipping through city traffic a breeze. And for those of us who aren’t giants, the low seat height is a huge plus – you’ll plant your feet firmly on the ground with confidence.

Speaking of comfort, the Hunter 350 is a joy to ride, especially for daily commutes and those shorter weekend trips. The riding position is upright and relaxed, with the handlebars within easy reach and your feet resting comfortably on the pegs. However, some riders mentioned the rear suspension could be a bit softer, especially when you hit those inevitable potholes. If you’re planning on longer trips, you might want to consider this, especially if you’re taller.

Engine & Power

Under the hood (or rather, under the tank!), the Hunter 350 packs a 349cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out a respectable 20.2 hp. Now, it’s not going to win any drag races, but trust me, it’s got enough punch for city riding. And if you do find yourself on the highway, this little beast can comfortably hit 80 mph. What I appreciate about this engine is how smoothly it delivers power.

The Hunter 350 is lightweight, and you’ll feel it the moment you take it for a spin. It’s incredibly responsive, making it easy to weave through traffic and tackle those winding roads with a grin on your face.

Now, some riders have mentioned that the suspension and brakes could be a bit more refined, especially if you’re pushing the bike hard. But for everyday riding, they do the job just fine.

Customization

One of the coolest things about the Hunter 350 is that it’s a blank canvas for customization. Royal Enfield offers a whole range of official accessories, and there’s a growing aftermarket scene with tons of options to make this bike your own.

Hunter 350 Mileage

The Hunter 350 is a real champ when it comes to fuel efficiency. While the claimed mileage is 36 kmpl as per ARAI. Our Riders reported an average of 32-35 kmpl depending on riding style and tire pressure. The lightweight design and smooth 6-speed gearbox contribute to its minimum fuel consumption.

And speaking of fuel, the tank holds a decent 13 liters, so you can go the distance. To give you an even better idea, I was burning around 2.7L per 100km – that’s some serious fuel economy!

Price

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has two variants: the Retro Factory and the Metro Rebel. The Retro is the more affordable option, starting at ₹1.50 lakh. It features spoke wheels and a more classic look. The Metro, on the other hand, starts at ₹1.65 lakh and comes with alloy wheels, a digital-analog instrument cluster, and modern styling.
